Booking Policy
Patients are required to pay $50 deposit to secure an appointment longer than 1.5 hours. The deposit will be treated as a credit and become part of the treatment cost. If patients failed to attend the appointment or failed to give us at least 24-hour cancellation notice, then the deposit will be non-refundable.
Cancellation Policy
If patients fail to attend a dental appointment more than 3 times in less than a year with no appropriate reasons given, a $50 deposit is required to secure any future appointment spot. If they fail to turn up again (regardless of any notice within 24 hours), the deposit will be forfeited.

- For patients with private health insurance, fees will be charged through to funds at regulated prices, then adjusted accordingly. No refunds or credits will be given if funds pay more than $179

- Offer if for a comprehensive examination (Items 011 or 012), a professional scale and clean (Item 114) or the removal of plaque (Item 111), fluoride (Item 121), two x-rays (Item 022 x 2), unless the treating clinician deems one or more of these items unsuitable for the patient.

FREE Kids Dental
*Passion Family Dental North Lakes happily bulk bill services available under the CBDS to all eligible children, meaning no out of pocket expenses for your child’s dental treatment!
The Children’s Dental Benefits Scheme (CBDS) is a Medicare program for eligible children aged 0-17 years of age. Up to $1,095 is provided over two consecutive calendar years for dental treatments such us exams, cleans, x-rays and fillings.
Who Is Eligible?
CBDS eligibility is assessed each calendar year – a child must be aged 0-17 years for a least one day of the calendar year, eligible for Medicare, and receive Family Tax Benefit Part A or other Australian government payment.
At Passion Family Dental North Lakes, we want to help your child build a lifelong confident association with their dentist. We are happy to bulk bill treatments that are eligible under the CBDS and terms and conditions.

- Items not covered by Medicare, and any treatment provided that exceeds the Medicare funds, will be invoiced to parents and need to be paid for on day of treatment. Every endeavour will be made to alert parents of this potential fee prior to treatment.

Passion Family Dental are offering the following packages for children with no private health insurance and who are not eligible for Medicare’s Children’s Dental Benefit scheme:

We are offering a Teeth Whitening take-home package that includes a consultation with your dentist, a take-home Professional Teeth Whitening Kit and custom-fitted mouth trays.

- Teeth whitening is not suitable for all patients

- Patients may be required to have a full exam, x-rays and clean prior to the commencement of teeth whitening. This is not included in the $329* cost and will be at the patient’s expense

Child Dental Benefits Schedule
Child Dental Benefits Schedule provides dental services, including dental exams, dental X-rays, professional scale and clean, fissure sealants, tooth-coloured fillings, root canal treatment, and tooth removal procedures.
The benefits are not available for orthodontic or cosmetic dental services and can’t be used for services provided in a hospital.
Take advantage of the $1,095 benefit to pay for your child’s dental services for 2 years.
If the funds aren’t fully used up during the first year, you can still use them for the next year.
After the 2nd year, any outstanding balance will not be carried to the next year.
